public @interface Raw

An interface introducing the Raw annotation.

• When applied to an instance method, a raw qualification indicates that the object referenced by the implicit argument must not satisfy all its class invariants. The object referenced by the implicit argument (the prime object) is then said to be in the raw state. Raw qualifications do not apply to static methods.
• When applied to a formal argument, a raw qualification indicates that the supplied actual argument must not satisfy all its class invariants. Raw qualifications only apply to formal arguments of class type: they do not apply to formal arguments of primitive type. The object referenced by a formal argument that is annotated raw, is said to be in the raw state.
• Upon entry to a method, all objects involved in an application that have not been qualified raw in the signature of that method, must satisfy all their invariants. Such objects are said to be in the steady state.
